SL-28 CM Washed

SL28 CM Washed coffee from the renowned Ratnagiri Estate produced with all the care by Mr. & Mrs Parte in the beautiful mountain range of Chikmangalur, Karnataka. For this Lot, the ripest coffee cherries were harvested from SL28 plants with an average Brix reading of 24.5 These cherries were triple sorted after which floats were removed. Then these cherries were placed in stainless steel tanks, All the oxygen was then purged out of the tanks and Co2 was pushed into the tank. The coffee was then left to undergo Carbonic Maceration fermentation for 72 hours. After fermentation the coffee was then pulped and mechanically washed to remove any leftover mucilage and was put on raised beds to dry.

Under the watch of The Commander Mr. Ashok, these coffees were dried under the shade, constantly stirring on the raised beds was done to ensure uniform drying.
This coffee was then rested for three months before being milled and finally dispatched to Koffie Genetics HQ in Bangalore.
